Cool Down Your Laptop Charger

If your laptop charger gets extremely hot. What will you do about this? You may afraid of your adapter will be burn out and it would burn the house.

First,you really do not need to worry about a fire hazard will be happened,since the power adapter has an intelligent chipset and will blow itself when any unusual over surge being detected,and the adapter can bear a temperature of 800℃,so it is still safe to use this ac adapter.

However, overuse of the device can cause it to generate a significant amount of heat, make it extremely hot to the touch. And it is also not good for your adapter spanlife .So it is better to cool the power cords down before letting it work again.

Remove the AC adapter from the power outlet it’s connected to.

Disconnect the AC adapter from the device that it powers — if possible.

Place the AC adapter on a hard, non-flammable surface. Areas such as porcelain, metal or linoleum will work fine.

Allow up to three hours for the adapter to cool.
